Gahan Racing Raising Money for Bar None Kids Camp in Memory of Jordan Gahan
Continuing where they left off last season, the Gahan Racing team has once again dedicated their season to raising money for Bar None Kids Camp and Bridges of Canada, Inc. The season has started by running a hockey fundraiser. Here’s how it works (from the Paul Gahan Racing Facebook page);
Example of how the hockey fundraiser works. We are selling numbers from :00 to :59 seconds for game 3 of the Stanley Cup final. So, if the game winning goal is scored at 5:16 of the third period and you hold number 16 then you win 300 dollars.
Each number cost $10, with half the pot going to the Bar None Kids Camp and half of the pot going to the winner. They began by selling numbers for Game Four of the Stanley Cup final and with the numbers quickly selling out, they set out on another run, this time selling numbers on Game Three.
In four days, they have sold out Games Two to Four and through donations and those purchasing numbers, over $1,000 has been raised.
All winnings from the #16 car and further donations and monies raised through fundraising will be donated to the Bar None Kids Camp. For all information on the team and future fundraisers, be sure to check out the Paul Gahan Racing Facebook page!
