Oyster Bed Speedway Releases 2016 Schedule

Oyster Bed Speedway has released their schedule in anticipation of their 31st year of operation.

The 2016 season will start on Monday, May 23rd at 2pm with their annual May Long Weekend Demolition Derby and Point Racing season opener. The season will continue on Sunday afternoons at 2pm (June 5th, June 19th) before transitioning to Saturday nights at 6pm. The season will end with Sunday afternoon at 2pm dates (September 11th, September 18th) after the Labour Day Long Weekend Demolition and Point Racing on Monday, September 5th at 2pm.

The one exception to the summer night Saturday at 6pm time slot for 2016 is Sunday, July 17th at 2pm, with the IWK 250 at Riverside International Speedway being held on July 16th.

Special events include the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, Atlantic Tiltload Maritime League of Legends and Street Stock 50 on Saturday, July 30th along with stops from the Eastern Super Mini Cup Series on Sunday, June 5th and Saturday, August 13th. The Bandolero division will have racing at the track on Saturday, June 25th and Saturday, August 6th.

The Annual David Lambe Memorial Street Stock 50 will take place on Sunday, September 11th with the finale on Sunday, September 18th featuring a 100-lap Late Model Invitational.
