Braden Langille is the first Atlantic Canadian driver to hold a checkered flag in 2014.
Langille took the victory Saturday at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway during the opener for the Granite State Bandolero Series. The Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia driver led every lap, winning the heat by a straightaway and having to hold off AJ Eastman in the 20-lap feature to take the win.
The team is considering heading back down this summer to compete on one of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekends, which will host Bandolero and Legends racing on the mini-oval at the track.
Coldbrook, Nova Scotia’s Josh Langille finished fourth in the heat race and came hone ninth in the feature.
