Riverside Leads the Way With New Website

JAMES RIVER, NS (June 14, 2013) – Management at Riverside International Speedway have flipped the switch for a bold new website that will offer fans of the facility a brand new digital experience. Completely intuitive for any computer or mobile device, the site is the first of its kind for any regional racing facility.
The new RiversideSpeedway.ca is built on a simplified platform organized for quick and easy access to favourite pages. Users will find the site was designed with one thing in mind: the fans.
The excitement of the facility and its events is captured with high quality imagery and graphics. Featured content will focus on upcoming events offering fans the opportunity to consume rich, comprehensive information to provide a better experience while planning for or attending an event at Riverside International Speedway. In addition, the new site will soon offer the chance to subscribe to newsletters including news items as well as advance notice for ticket on sale dates, and more.
On race day fans will find the event schedule on the home page, along with event specific bulletins or alerts – especially useful for fans at the track viewing on their mobile device. Fans can enjoy the new site benefits at the track this Saturday as the facility kicks off its 2013 season with the Ron MacGillivray Chev Buick GMC 150 for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour along with the Highland Home Building Centre 50 for the Napa Sportsman Series. Pro stock time trials start at 5:10 p.m. and racing starts at 6. Advance ticket information is available at RiversideSpeedway.ca; the track box office opens Saturday at 2 p.m.
Riverside International Speedway is recognized as a premiere stock racing facility in Canada. The 1/3-mile high banked asphalt oval roars to action several times a year for special events. It is the home for eastern Canada’s only NASCAR event, and of the IWK 250 – widely known as the best stock car race in Canada.
