TCM To Haul Into Opening Weekend With Mackinnon’s Trucking
The first weekend of any sporting season is an exciting time, especially in the sport of stock car racing in Atlantic Canada. In 2013, the stock car season opens on three fronts in three different provinces on the Victoria Day long weekend, and thanks to MacKinnon’s Trucking of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Tim’s Corner Motorsports (TCM) is planning on being at all three.
Mackinnon’s Trucking is your go to destination on Prince Edward Island for all your needs in screened topsoil, mulsh, compost, sand, fill, shale, rototiling, truck and loader rentals. Mackinnon’s Trucking is located on 286 Royalty Road in Charlottetown and can be contacted by calling (902) 368-2383.
Owner Jeff Mackinnon is also well involved with the sport of stock car racing on Prince Edward Island as the owner of the two-time and defending David Lambe Memorial Street Stock 75 winning car, driven by Stephen Gass and Darren Mackinnon.
Oyster Bed Speedway in Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island will take centre stage on TimsCorner.ca on Monday, May 20th as they open their season with a full card of racing, a demolition derby and Kids Rides. The Oyster Bed Speedway opener will cap a busy “Tri-Province Triple Header Weekend,” one of two scheduled for TCM in 2013. The weekend will begin on Saturday, May 18th at Petty International Raceway in River Glade, New Brunswick, with the $2,500 to win GT Enterprises Sportsman 150. Sunday, May 19th will see the Lucas Oil 150 go green at Scotia Speedworld (Enfield, Nova Scotia) for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. In total, a combined ten divisions and dozens of drivers will kick off their seasons on this weekend, and TCM will be there to talk to all the feature winners and news makers as they begin their quest for glory in 2013.
TCM is planning on three Oyster Bed Speedway visits in 2013. The second will be for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour 100 on Saturday, August 3rd while the third is slated for Sunday, September 8th for the Season Finale and Modified 100, which was won by Darrell Ford one season ago. Advertising packages for the TCM coverage on these two events are still available by contacting Tim at advertising@timscorner.ca.
