$5K STREET STOCK RACE TO BE PRESENTED BY STUFF YOUR STUFF STORAGE

Contingency Awards Announced; Driver Registration for $5K Race Day to Open in Late February
(RIVER GLADE, NB – February 3rd, 2021) – Petty International Raceway is excited to unveil marketing partners that will help present the $5K Street Stock and Late Model Sportsman 100 races at the track on Saturday, August 7th. These supporters of grassroots stock car racing will help build the purse for one of the biggest Street Stock and Late Model Sportsman events of the season in Eastern Canada.
Stuff Your Stuff Storage in Hanwell, New Brunswick will present the 100-lap Street Stock portion of the event. The $5K Stuff Your Stuff Storage Street Stock 100 will pay $5,000 to the winner in the biggest Street Stock payout in Atlantic Canada. Opening in March 2021, Stuff Your Stuff Storage is the Fredericton area’s newest storage solution offering storage units, warehouse and office space. Located in the Greenview Industrial Park at 55 Fairway Drive. A trio of contingency awards will be presented during the August 7th event. Both the $5K Stuff Your Stuff Storage Street Stock 100 and the $5K Late Model Sportsman 100 will have halfway awards presented by Dulux Paints Bayers Lake of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Smith Brothers Racing of Lakeside, Nova Scotia, respectively. Robby’s Towing of Fort McMurray, Alberta will present the Hard Charger Award for the $5K Stuff Your Stuff Street Stock 100. Each award will pay $300 to the winner.
Several other marketing partners have hopped on board for the August 7th event. Among those that have joined early for the event include Fog City Auto Spa, Port City Racecars, Veinotte’s Motorsports and S. Hall Tire Muffler & Auto Repair Centre. Each race will feature a lap leaderboard where each lap will pay $20 to the leader. Laps for both the $5K Stuff Your Stuff Storage Street Stock 100 and $5K Late Model Sportsman 100 are now available to purchase.
Bryn Enterprises will be on site during the $5K Race Day with their merchandise trailer and information on their “Racing For Heroes” not-for-profit group. In addition to their display, Bryn Enterprises will be a marketing partner for the pair of races on August 7th. More information on their display will be available as the event draws closer.
Track management appreciates the strong support for the $5K Race Day in the short time following the announcement of the 2021 schedule.

Drivers and teams can begin to register for the $5K Stuff Your Stuff Storage Street Stock 100 and $5K Late Model Sportsman 100 at the end of February. Registration will be $50 per car and will go into the purse for the event. The first 20 cars that register and pay per class will have a chance to win two free Hoosier tires. Three tire draws will be made per class for a total of six winners between the Street Stock and Late Model Sportsman classes. Teams are urged to keep their eyes on PettyRaceway.com during the last week of the month for registration to officially open and for any breaking news on the event.
