MacEwen Scores Second Pro Stock Tour Victory at Home Track

(Oyster Bed Bridge, PE – July 27, 2024) – Robbie MacEwen (Sherwood, PE) was in the right place at the right time at Oyster Bed Speedway when Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) and Cory Hall (Pictou, NS) crashed for the lead with six to go. The end result was MacEwen picking up his second career East Coast International Pro Stock Tour victory. MacEwen, who led a race high 78 laps, held off Lucas Oil Rookie Gage Gilby (Enfield, NS) on a pair of late race restarts to take home the checkered flag. Stevie Lively (Shubenacadie, NS), in his 50th career Tour start, raced to a career high third place finish after a spirited battle with pole sitter Chris Hughes (Brackley Beach, PE) at the checkered flag. Jordan Veinotte (Porters Lake, NS) completed the top five in the 20-car field.

 

Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races kicked off Pro Stock action on the track. Hughes, Naugle and Jarrett Butcher (Porters Lake, NS) took home checkered flag in heat race qualifier.
