Joey McColm, Josh Collins, CBRT to Take on Riverside International Speedway

TORONTO, On (August 12, 2015) – Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) is set for a busy weekend of racing with drivers Joey McColm and Josh Collins headed to Riverside International Speedway in Nova Scotia, and Steve Kent Jr. back behind the wheel of the No. 83 Bulk Nation Ford Mustang for the TA2 Trans Am race at Mid Ohio.
The team has bounced back from a few struggles at Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres where they raced on August 2. CBRT Driver Kevin Poitras experienced some significant damage to the No. 87 Canada’s Best Store Fixture’s Ford during qualifying after a hard impact to the tire wall. Both drivers were involved in accidents during the race, and were unable to finish. Currently, McColm is 11th in point standings.
Josh Collins will make his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debut this weekend racing the No. 87 CBRT Ford, sponsored by Eastbound International Speedway and Edward Collins Contracting Ltd. He will also become the first competitor from the Province of Newfoundland to compete in the NCATS series.

Drivers will race the Wounded Warriers Canada 300 on Saturday, August 15 at 8:00pm ET on the .333-mile banked oval track that has been nicknamed ‘Bristol of the North’.
This race marks the ninth race in the 11-race NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 event schedule. It will be televised on TSN on August 22 at 6:00pm.
