Mike Duskey attempted the rare feat of a triple win in the ever-competitive Street Stock Division at Oyster Bed Speedway Saturday night.

After welcoming a baby girl into the world the day before, the new father opened up the division with apair of wins.

And things looked as though they were going Duskey’s way early on in the feature race, as the driver moved forward in the hunt for the elusive triple-win.

But after building a substantial lead, a number of cautions came out, erasing Duskey’s lead and enabling some of the faster cars to work their way from the back to the front to challenge him.

Colton Ford was eventually able to catch up to Duskey, and, after running side by side, completed the pass, going on to grab the checkered flag. Duskey would settle for second.

Ford was been one of the hottest drivers in the division as of late. Saturday night, he also had second and third-place finishes, and now has wins in each of the last three weekends of racing, with a total of four wins so far this season.

Troy Burke, and Jeff McInnis also picked up wins Saturday night.

The Late Model Division had three different winners.

Mark Leclair continued his hot streak by adding another win to his resume. The division rookie now hasthree wins in two weekends.

Randy Millar continued his winning ways. After a feature win at Oyster Bed Speedway the previous week,Millar would drive into victory lane, again during a heat race.

Tyler Gauthier would go on to capture the feature in convincing fashion, becoming the fifth different driver to capture a feature in the division.

Cody Byrne had a successful night in the outlaw division.

He opened up with a heat win and ended up battling division leader Kendall Palmer for the feature win. Palmer was able to pull up to the race leader, but Byrne shut the door on any attempts to steal the lead, ensuring his feature win.

Byrne ended the eveningwith three podium finishes, as he ended up third place in his other race. Palmer would end his night with a heat win plus a second and a third.

In the Four Fun Division, Harley Cornish continued to dominate.

In back-to-back weekends of racing, the division leader in points and wins swept all three races, giving him six wins a row.

This was the third timeCornish pulled off a triple win. He now has 11 total wins to date this year, with only one other driver, Jason Cornish, with a feature win so far this season.

Jeff Richard and Tyler Smith also scored wins on the night.

The Speedway will take this Saturday night off before returning to action July 18, which will feature the Street Stock 50 lap Super Series.
