Classic Cars and Stock Cars at The Chickenburger Show ‘n Shine Friday at Scotia Speedworld

(HALIFAX, NS – June 30th, 2015) – The Weekly Racing Series heads into week five of the 2015 season Friday with the Chickenburger Show & Shine. Five divisions will see action including the Hydraulics Plus Bandit and Outlaw Bandoleros, Chickenburger Lightning, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Coors Light Trucks and Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman.

Prior to the Weekly Racing Series the Chickenburger Show & Shine will take to the track featuring lots of awesome classic cars.

Admission for the Weekly Racing Series is $12 for adults, $2 for youth (8-15yrs), children seven and under are free all season at Scotia Speedworld! Grandstands open at 5:00PM with racing slated for 7:00PM. For more information on this event or the 2015 season please visit www.scotiaspeedworld.ca

Race Day Format

July 3, 2015

Pit Gate opens    4:30 p.m.

Tech Inspection starts    4:30 p.m.

Practice starts (BN, TR, LG, SP, LI)  5:00 p.m.

Practice ends    6:25 p.m.

Drivers Meeting @ line-up board – all divisions   6:35 p.m.

Chickenburger Show & Shine Parade 7:00 p.m.

Bandolero Bandits – 8 laps Coors Light Trucks – 10 laps

Strictly Hydraulics Legends– 10 laps

Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman – 10 laps

Chickenburger Lightning Cars – 10 laps

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
