Kid’s Day and the West Wood Estates 25 lap Bando Blast will highlight race night at Speedway 660 on Saturday. The racing begins at 6:30PM, but kids of all ages are invited to a pre-race autograph session with the drivers, beginning at 5:30PM. The famous candy scramble for kids 12 and under will be held at intermission.
“Kid’s Day got rained out earlier in the season and with the school year wrapping up, we thought this would be a great week to reschedule this event” said Speedway 660’s Max Roy. “We`ve got a lot of kids in the stands every week and there are more kids than ever driving race cars so this is their night at Speedway 660.”
In addition to the 25 lap Bando Blast, fans will see drivers compete in the Re/Max Pro Stock, Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman, DMR Auto Sales Street Stock and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter Divisions.
Adult ticket prices are $14 and because its Kid`s Day everyone 16 and under will be admitted free of charge.
“School is out for the summer and it’s a great weekend to bring the entire family out to see Speedway 660’s incredible brand of short-track racing” said Roy. “On Kid`s Day lots of folks come out early for the autograph session then watch the races, take in the candy scramble and have a fun-filled night of family entertainment.”
