Xtreme Racing Series Announced, Legend and Bandolero Racing in Georgia, North and South Carolina

Series Release
Pittsburgh, PA — The Xtreme Racing Series is proud to announce its 2015 Schedule, Staff, Sponsors and more.
Effective May 1st, 2015 – The Xtreme Racing Series will be renamed to: Xtreme Racing Series Presented by: C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause and Dylan Martin Racing.
C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause is a charitable organization out of Florida that has close ties to Dylan Martin Racing. You can find out more information on the charity by going to: www.carsevents.com and you can find information on Dylan Martin by going to his website: www.dylanmartinracing.com
C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause will sponsor the entire series and fund the purses for all three events in 2015. This will make all the races a guaranteed payout, no matter how many drivers show up.
Beginning in Senoia, Georgia, the Xtreme Racing Series will make its debut on the red Georgia clay of Senoia Speedway on September 4th and 5th. This event, the Driven Steering Wheels – Duel on the Dirt Twin 25s, will kick off the series’ inaugural racing season. This Labor Day weekend event will have an unprecedented amount of cash and prizes to give our racers!
Moving from dirt to asphalt, the series will then head to Williamston, South Carolina, for a race weekend at the 3/8th mile Anderson Speedway. Details are still in the process of being solidified for this event. The track owner of Anderson Motor Speedway has told XRS Officials that we are welcomed to host an event at her track, we are just trying to nail down a date, but it looks our best bet will be September 26th.
The series will wrap up its first year of operation on its second asphalt track, Ace Speedway. Located in Altamahaw, North Carolina. This 4/10th mile oval will play host to two full days of racing action. Taking place on October 24th and 25th, the Xtreme Racing Series will end its initial year strong, led by its fresh and enthusiastic staff, large payouts, awesome prizes and innovative ideas.
Entry for the races will be $100 per car, $25 per pit pass or $20 per pit pass if you have an XRS license. An XRS License will run you $35 per year and give you discounted pit passes and other cool things along the way! (All racers are required to have an XRS license.) *Prices for entry and pit passes will not change for 2015, however due to having a few two day events, there will be an option to purchase an entire weekend pit pass. See your entry form for details.*

Statement from owner and promoter, DJ Lyon: “We are thrilled to be able to launch this series. We’ve listened to many racers and crew members about what they want to see in a race/series/event and we are going to give it to them. XRS is working to have live coverage of races and weekly recap videos made. We are also working to increase the payouts for the drivers. Once we get over 50 entries, we will automatically raise the purse for the event and pay out the entire A Main!”
