Tim’s Corner Motorsports and Racing Trader Announce Content Agreement

Former RacingSpectator.ca archives to return in “Throwback Thursday, Flashback Friday” features

(April 6th, 2015) – Tim’s Corner Motorsports, Atlantic Canada’s Hub for Regional Racing News, and Racing Trader, Canada’s Racing Marketplace, are pleased to announce a content agreement which will see the re-publication of the former RacingSpectator.ca motorsport content. Articles, columns and photos will be released twice a week in “Throwback Thursday” and “Flashback Friday” features beginning on Thursday, April 16th and Friday, April 17th on RacingTrader.ca and will presented by Tim’s Corner Motorsports.

RacingSpectator.ca was a popular Maritime racing news website owned and operated by Bruce and Bea Langille from 2001 to 2011 and was acquired prior to the 2012 season by Mark and Lori Williams of Racing Trader. Months after the first transaction, a deal was struck between Williams and Tim Terry of then upstart Tim’s Corner Motorsports for the content and rights to be transferred to Terry. RacingSpectator.ca’s archives remained public until January 3rd, 2013, when the current TimsCorner.ca website was launched.

“I have had a wonderful, longstanding business relationship with Mark and Lori and am thrilled to be working with them on this project,” said Tim Terry of Tim’s Corner Motorsports. “This is a great partnership for all involved, including the fans that will get a trip down memory lane with the unique content Bruce and Bea created in over a decade they were behind RacingSpectator.ca.”

In addition, Bruce Langille will be writing a column throughout the season, which can be found exclusively on RacingTrader.ca. “Gentlemen, Start Your Engines” will bring the veteran columnist’s perspective of the Maritime racing scene to your computer screens throughout the year with his take on the events and news that happens around the region.

The Maritime racing season gets kicked off on April 17th to 19th at the Moncton Coliseum in Moncton, New Brunswick for the 41st Annual Radical Speedsport Show. Tim’s Corner Motorsports will be set up all weekend to preview the racing season with fans, drivers and teams alike.
