Race Day Format – World Series of Asphalt – Night Nine
The final night of the World Series of Asphalt is here. Hard to believe, eh?
After seven nights (and a rainout) of on track action, all the hard work comes down to this.
The Super Late Models take center stage tonight with the second annual Bruce Gowland Memorial 100, with the Pro Late Models running 35 laps and the Florida Modifieds running 25 laps to close off their World Series events. The Sportsman division will see 50 laps for their local stars.
Sarah McKay comes in after a seventh place finish last night and sits tenth in points. Denver Foran will look to hold on to a top ten point finish as he also enters tenth in points in the Super Late Model class. Josh Collins hopes to wrap up the World Series higher than his current 14th place in the points. The Gary Crooks entry, driven by California’s Zane Smith, leads the Super Late Model standings two points over Garrett Jones and seven over Steve Wallace.
