Day Four Results: Langilles Return To Victory Lane

Braden Langille is four for four in INEX Winter Nationals competition in the Bandolero Outlaw division.

Langille, from Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, captured twin Outlaw features on Day Four of the event, after Day Three’s feature was held on Thursday. Langille will have the lead in Winter Nationals points heading into the final day of competition on Friday. Luke Ettinger finished fifth and seventh in the two features on Thursday.

Nathan Langille took the win on Day Four in the Bandolero Bandits division, his second win of the week and fourth podium in as many races. Owen Mahar finished second behind Langille. While points were unavailable at press time, Langille should hold the point advantage heading into the final day of racing.

Josh Langille finished sixth and fourth in the two Bandolero Bandits races on the afternoon. The first feature, which also saw Austin MacDonald finish seventh and Danny Chisholm 13th, was completed on Day Four after it was halted the previous day. MacDonald and Chisholm mirrored their finishes from the makeup feature in the second feature on the afternoon.

It was “Lucky 7s” for Cole Butcher as he finished in the seventh spot in both the makeup feature for the Pro division and the scheduled feature on Thursday afternoon.

Moncton, New Brunswick’s Gary Bursey finished 12th in the first feature of the afternoon for the Legends Masters division and moved up to ninth in the second feature on Thursday.

Legends divisions with only one feature on Day Four (those who did not need to make up features from Wednesday) included the Semi Pro Legends division. Nicholas Naugle of Dartmouth, NS took home fifth with Nick Ledson right behind him, from Ontario, in sixth. Jarrett Butcher was 12th with Dylan Rumbolt in 19th, Will Farrell in 24th and Cory Hall, who had three straight top fives heading into Thursday, in 25th.

Braden Langille, who is making his debut in Legends this week in addition to his Bandolero efforts, captured ninth in the Young Lions Legends division.

The INEX Winter Nationals wraps up at Orlando Speedworld Friday with Day Five competition.
