Race Day Format – World Series of Asphalt, Night One

Look outside your window in Atlantic Canada.

Believe it or not, it is race day.

While some are getting hammered with, or bracing for impact, from Mother Nature in the North East, we are getting ready to go racing here at New Smyrna Speedway for Night One of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing.

The night’s action will feature regular racing in the Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, Pro Trucks, Florida Modifieds and Tour Modifieds. Each division is slated for a 35 lap feature, except for the Trucks, whom will run 25 laps.

Sarah McKay, Denver Foran and Josh Collins will take part in the Super Late Model portion of the show, while Gary Crooks (feature photo) will look over Zane Smith’s entry. Over 40 Super Late Models logged into the pits yesterday for practice.

McKay will also take part in the Pro Late Model division.
