iRacing: Brad Mahar To Run TimsCorner.ca Colors in 2015 NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series

(Halifax, NS – January 22nd, 2015) – Tim’s Corner Motorsports is pleased to announced a partnership with Cody Byus Racing driver Brad Mahar for the 2015 NASCAR Peak Antifreeze powered by iRacing.com season. Mahar, of Calais, Maine, is a second year driver in the series and will pilot the #13 TimsCorner.ca Chevrolet SS in the prestigious sim racing series which is slated to get underway on Tuesday, February 24th at the virtual Daytona International Speedway.

“I’m excited to partner with Brad and the whole Cody Byus Racing organization,” said Tim Terry, who is also the series voice on iRacing Live’s broadcasts of the events. “Brad is a great driver whom is a fine representative of the North East and I look forward to watching his progress in his second season in the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series.”

The NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series powered by iRacing enters its sixth season in 2015 and features the top oval racers amongst tens of thousands of virtual drivers around the globe. The series traditionally pays a top prize of $10,000 to its champion, which also includes a trip to the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead Miami Speedway to accept his cheque, trophy and championship ring.

Mahar, who finished 14th in his first season in the series in 2014, is looking forward to representing the Tim’s Corner Motorsports brand. “Partnering with Tim and Tim’s Corner Motorsports, who have supported the sim racing community for many years, is great for our team. Our goal is to have a lot of fun this season, and bringing the car to the front of the field.”

The car also features associate sponsorship from Infinite Creative Solutions, which is owned by Halifax, Nova Scotia’s Dylan Duval. Duval, a former NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series racer himself, has taken on projects for Tim’s Corner Motorsports in the past and has created the two primary schemes that will be used throughout the season.

Tim’s Corner Motorsports and Cody Byus Racing have worked together in the past, including partnerships with former NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series Daytona winner Adam Gilliland and 2014 NASCAR iRacing Pro Series championship contender Tyler Hill.
