Florida Update – Saturday, February 16th

If you have never thought about going to Florida Speedweeks, you definitely need to start booking your plans for 2014!

Auburndale Speedway saw a weekly show on Saturday night, and five of our Maritime drivers took to the track for some practice. Of note, Cole Boudreau and Cole Tanner came home second and third in the Bandolero feature while finishes for Braden Langille, Cole Butcher and Jarrett Butcher were unavailable at this time.

Wayne Smith’s luck at New Smyrna is slowly changing. After issues last night with his #44 car, Smith finished 16th at New Smyrna while Josh Collins of Placentia, NL finished 21st.

Meanwhile, site owner Tim Terry, Scott Hall and Bandolero driver Cory Hall took in the ARCA Racing Series Lucas Oil 200 and Sprint Unlimited at Daytona. Check out their seats.

Today is practice at Auburndale and, if all works out, we may get up to New Smyrna Speedway this evening!
