Speedworld Postpones Dartmouth Dodge 100

Due to persistent rain showers and the forecast for more rain in the evening, officials at Scotia Speedworld have pulled the plug on tonight’s Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman 100 card.

The race will run Sunday at 2pm, contingent on the Atlantic Cat 250 running as scheduled on Saturday.

TRACK RELEASE

(Halifax, NS – Aug 8, 2014) Weather has forced the postponement of The Dartmouth Dodge 100 this evening at Scotia Speedworld. Tonight’s races have been tentatively rescheduled for Sunday at 2:00PM pending the running of the Atlantic Cat 250 on Saturday.

Tomorrow the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour visits Scotia Speedworld for the prestigious Atlantic Cat 250. Short track superstars from across the Maritimes and the North Eastern United States will battle for 250 grueling laps in the 15th running of the Atlantic Cat 250. Tickets for the Atlantic Cat 250 are $35.00 for adults; $6.00 for youth (8-15); children 7 and under are admitted free. Grandstand gates open at 2:00PM racing gets underway 5:00PM
