Speedworld Ready to Rock Friday with Q104 Night

(Halifax, NS. July 8, 2014) Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series is proud to present Q104 Night this Friday at 7:00 PM. Five divisions will be on track this Friday including the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman, Strictly Hydraulics Legends and the Thunder & Lightning cars. Adult tickets are $12.00; Youth tickets (8-15 years) are just $2.00 and children 7 and under are admitted for free all season at Scotia Speedworld! Tickets will be available at the gate on race day (cash only). Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM.

Q104 will be on site with lots of goodies to give away as well as an opportunity to fill out a ballot to win a 16 foot power boat! The boat will be on display and ballots will be available all evening on the grandstand side! Be sure to come check out the boat and fill out your ballot to win!

Pit Gate opens                   4:30 p.m.

Tech Inspection starts    4:30 p.m.

Practice starts                     5:00 p.m.

Practice ends                      6:25 p.m.

Opening Ceremonies     7:00 p.m.

Strictly Hydraulics Legends – 10 laps

Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman – 10 laps

Thunder Cars – 10 laps

Lightning Cars– 10 laps

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
