She Wins Again – Mother Nature Washes All Atlantic Canada Races, Plus NCATS @ Chaudiere

If you are looking for racing in Atlantic Canada today, unless you are racing boats or rubber ducks, don’t bother.
Speedway 660, Oyster Bed Speedway, Shediac Centre for Speed and Riverside International Speedway have all washed their racing cards, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 14th.
Riverside will attempt to run the Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet Buick GMC 150 tomorrow at 2pm for the Parts for Trucks Maritime Pro Stock Tour and Napa Sportsman Series while Speedway Miramichi will have their first point card tomorrow at 2pm.
The CENTRE For Speed will run today’s card next week (June 21st) at 7pm. No make up dates for Oyster Bed Speedway or Speedway 660, though the Bandolero Blast feature itself will be run at a later date.
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series has also lost the Budweiser 300 scheduled for June 14th at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, QC. Their release is below.
VALLEE-JONCTION, Que. (June 14, 2014) – NASCAR and Autodrome Chaudiere have announced that due to the circumstances surrounding adverse weather conditions today, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1’s Budweiser 300 has been postponed to Sunday.
The accumulation of rain on the grounds at the speedway for three consecutive days, and a forecast for continued precipitation today, prompted series and track officials to postpone the event to Sunday in the best interest of the fans expected to attend the Canadian Tire Series’ inaugural appearance at the Quebec quarter-mile.
The Budweiser 300, the second race of the 2014 season, is now slated to take the green flag at 1:30 p.m Eastern.
