TRAC Series Season Opener Sunday at AMP
For those looking for the best road racing action in Atlantic Canada – look no further than the TRAC (The Road-Racers of Atlantic Canada) at Atlantic Motorsports Park. Their first of five regional road races of the season takes place Sunday, May 25th, with a racing school taking place the day prior on Saturday, May 24th.
This will serve as the opening day for the Toyo Tires Spec Miata Championship, who will run the first three rounds of their series on Sunday. Also on the card includes Sedans and Open Wheels. The event will be concluded with the first Atlantic Challenge One Hour Endurance race of the season.
Sedans begin their qualifying at 8:30am on Sunday and the track is slated to be hot until 5pm, making it a full day of racing entertainment. Pit admission is $10.
In addition, the track will be providing parade lapping during lunch. You can get a drive around the track during the lunch hour for $10 a car load (as many passengers as there are seatbelts).
More information on the day can be found at this link. A race day format is below.
Good luck to all TRAC Series drivers this weekend from TCM!
