What racer does not like to save money?

Management at Scotia Speedworld has reminded us to pass along to teams that are planning on competing on the Weekly Racing Series (Bandoleros, Thunder, Lightning, Sportsman, Legends and Trucks) that your 2014 registration is due by Tuesday, April 1st, 2014 – or next week!

Prior to the April 1st deadline, the registration fee is $20 – afterwards, it is $50.

Yes, it jumps $30 – or the price of two pit passes on a regular Weekly Racing Series event, and that’s no April Fools Joke!

The fee is to encourage early registration so drivers and teams can be included in the 2014 Souvenir Program, as well as to cover administration fees at the office. After all, it’s not easy chasing after well over 100 teams and getting all their paperwork in line, just ask the announcer on race day who runs this page!

As mentioned, the $30 jump is the price of two back gate passes to a regular Weekly Racing Series event on a Friday night. Think about it when you’re contemplating the benefits early registration.
