Oyster Bed Speedway Releases 2014 Schedule
Island race fans – start your engines!
Oyster Bed Speedway has released their schedule for the 2014 season, which includes many returning events such as the Super Series mini series for their four House Divisions (Mini Stock, Outlaw, Street Stock and Modified) and the David Lambe Memorial Street Stock event, which moves back to its traditional September date (Sunday, September 7th).
The Eastern Super Mini Cup Series will return for a series high three dates in 2014 (June 28th, July 12th and August 16th), while two Bandolero dates are scheduled for July 19th and August 9th. Demolition events will take place on the season opener, which is Victoria Day Monday, May 19th at 2pm and the Labour Day weekend on Monday, September 1st at 2pm.
The Maritime Pro Stock Tour returns for a 100-lap feature on Saturday, August 2nd at 6pm.
A bulk of the events take place Saturday nights at 7pm with the second and third events (June 1st and 8th) along with the final two events (September 7th and 14th) having Sunday at 2pm dates.
