Maritime Pro Stock Tour
Harry Poole
From Maritime Pro Stock Tour/Scotia Speedworld:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing early Wednesday morning of Harry Poole.
Harry was one of the original owners/builders of Scotia Speedworld and the Maritime Pro Stock Tour. He was inducted into the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2012, along with Cecil Vance. Harry was also a car sponsor during the years.
Harry, the owner of Amber Construction, was a well-respected member of the Dartmouth business community. The paddling community of Lake Banook was the recipient of his generosity over the years, where he was quick to design solutions for course problems that would arise and then correct them.
Harry is survived by his wife June, daughter Cheryl, son Keith and two grandsons.
Services will be held at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
