TCM To Host 2013 Petty Fan Choice Awards – Nominations Open Now
Tim’s Corner Motorsports (TCM) is once again becoming the voice of stock car fans in Atlantic Canada.
TCM has been announced as the home to the 2013 Petty International Raceway Fan Choice Awards. Much like the RacingSpectator.ca Driver of the Year Award was conducted, fans of Petty International Raceway will be able to log onto PettyFanChoice.com and nominate their favorite drivers for the Best Looking Car and Most Popular Driver for each of the track’s four divisions – the GT Enterprises Sportsman, Mister Transmission Mini Stocks, C Max Paint and Body Shop Street Stock and the Leisure Days/CRC RV Bandoleros. To be eligible for either award, nominees must have made at least one start at Petty International Raceway in the 2013 season in the division in which they are being nominated for.
Nominees will be accepted until Tuesday, December 10th. The first round of voting will take place from Wednesday, December 11th to Wednesday, December 25th. The field will then be trimmed to the top five in each category and a second round of voting will take place from Friday, December 27th to Thursday, January 9th. Winners in all categories and classes will be announced at the Annual Awards Banquet for Petty International Raceway on Saturday, January 18th at 7pm at the Petitcodiac Legion.
