Langille’s Bandolero is 2013 Best Looking Car

After finishing second one season ago, Braden Langille can now lay claim to the TCM Best Looking Car Award presented by Imaginit Designs.

Langille’s #51 Velocity Machining and Welding Bandolero was designed and decaled by Peter Lawrence of Pointe Design Group and is a change from the second place car one season ago. This year, the team opted for a green and silver look on a black base, a scheme that debuted in Florida at Auburndale Speedway for INEX Winter Nationals and carried Langille through the season and to a 2013 INEX Canadian Bandits championship, his second straight honor as the top in the country for his age group.

The car received 12 of 17 possible votes from the panel, three more than any other of the 50+ cars in the competition. In the fan vote, he finished second with 23% of the votes – having to hold off John Flemming at the end of the competition, edging out the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour champ by 25 votes.

With his first and second place finishes in the panel and fan votes, respectively, Langille scored 18 points out of a possible 20 in the competition.

Chris Duncan’s #97 Pro Stock, which was done by Jack Wilkins and Wilkins Signs, scored 16 of a possible 20 points in the competition. While Duncan won the fan vote by nearly 100 votes (31% of the vote), his car finished third in the panel vote with eight of the 17 judges selecting the Easy Kleen Pressure Systems Chevrolet on their ballots.
