Eddy in #13 for Riverside; Foran Shifts Focus

Denver Foran’s bid for the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Year Award on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour has fallen two races short.

Foran, from Edmonton, Alberta, has shifted focus on the completion of the 2013 season and has his eyes set on clinching the Dakota Dunes Western Super Late Model Championship at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in Saskatoon, SK, along with some open late model shows in the West.

The 16 year old leaves the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour 12th in the standings after 10 of 12 races and third in the Rookie of the Year battle to Dylan Blenkhorn and Cole Butcher. Foran has a 12 point lead on Saskatoon’s Greg Vangool and a 24 point advantage on Jim Gaunt, also of Saskatoon in the Western Super Late Model Championship. The #00 team finished third last weekend in Race Three of Four on the series. The team as of press time is unsure of plans for 2014 for Foran.

In for the #13 King Competition Ford Fusion team for this weekend at Riverside International Speedway for the Lucas Oil 100 is Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia’s Brad Eddy. Eddy caught fire on the series last year with some technical backing from the King Racing team. At the helm of his own #72 as a sophomore, Eddy began reeling off top five and top ten finishes at the end of 2012, including a second place run in the International 150 Pro Stock Tour race at Petty Raceway in August 2012. Eddy has been running a part time schedule in his #72 car this season on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour.

No driver announcement for the #13 has been made official for next weekend’s Dartmouth Dodge 200 at Scotia Speedworld.
