Colby Smith Takes Maritime Sportsman Challenge – Final Standings

The Maritime Sportsman Challenge is now complete and the inaugural champion of the series is Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia’s Colby Smith.
Smith, who made select starts this season in a Sportsman car, captured the title last weekend at Petty International Raceway following the Jones Auto Body Twin 75’s.
Darren Price of Sydney, NS was impressive in the series collecting second in the three race series off the strength of his runner-up finish in the Dartmouth Dodge 100 at Scotia Speedworld.
Russell Smith Jr of Lakeside, NS and Shawn McLean of Havelock, NB tied for third in the standings, with Smith Jr getting the nod for the third place spot with his win in the Dartmouth Dodge 100.
