Cormier Captures Jones Auto Body Sportsman Twin 75s, International Crown

Track Release

RIVER GLADE, NB (August 23, 2013) –  The Cormier name will once again be inscribed on the River Glade International Cup – albeit a different Cormier. Laurie Cormier won Friday’s Jones Auto Body Twin 75’s for the GT Sportsman division at Petty International Raceway. Cormier, the son of legendary Adelard Cormier – a two-time winner (1967, 1973) of the International, was greeted in Victory Lane by the first two winners of the event John Shirtliff (1965) and Jim Hallahan (1966).

Other feature winners of the night included Brodie MacQuarrie in the C Max Paint and Body Shop Supplies Street Stock and Cole Tanner in the Leisure Days RV Bandolero Cars.
