NSPE – Demolition Derby Events Upcoming Next Week!

A staple event in the Truro/Bible Hill area for many years, the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Demolition Derby events are ready to take place next week at the Exhibition Grounds in Bible Hill!

The big attraction each year in the six and eight cylinder derby will run on Wednesday, August 21st. Last season’s derby was won by leading Exide Batteries Rookie of the Year on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Dylan Blenhkorn. His winning ride, or what was left of it from 2012, is pictured to the right.

The four cylinder demotion event will take place the following night on Thursday, August 22nd. New to the Exhibition this year is the addition of a S10 Truck and Van derby, which will go on Saturday night, August 24th. A Mudbog will fill the motorsports void on Friday, August 23rd.

All events are to take place in the infield of the Truro Raceway and will begin at 7pm on their respective nights.

Tim’s Corner Motorsports will be in attendance on Wednesday and Thursday covering the crash and bang action!
