Seven Divisions Highlight Two Day Petty Card

RIVER GLADE, NB (July 11, 2013) –  Seven – count them, seven different racing divisions are ready to roll into Petty International Raceway this weekend. The action will be packed into two shows, the GT Enterprises Sportsman 100 on Friday and the Fast Eddies Racewear 100 for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour on Saturday.

On Friday the GT Enterprises Sportsman division will be centre stage with support class action from the Mister Transmission Mini Stock, the C Max Paint and Body Shop Supplies Street Stock, and the AOW series.

On Saturday the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour competitors will make their second attempt on the Fast Eddies Racewear 100 which had been postponed from a June date, Besides the high powered pro stocks fans will see the Leisure Days RV Bandoleros and the Maritime League of Legends.

Competitors from all seven divisions will be racing for bragging rights as well as championship points as the 2013 season reaches the mid-way point, half-way to their respective title chases.

It will be the first stop of the year at Petty for the AOW and Maritime League of Legends, both rained out in earlier scheduled dates in what has been a soggy season.

There will be a practice session at the track Thursday evening in preparation for the two race meets. All teams that are registered to compete in the seven divisions set to race at Petty this weekend are welcome to attend. The pit entry fee for the practice session is $10 and admission is restricted to those 18 and older; grandstand entry is free on Thursday evening.

Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday. Friday admission is $20 for adults and $10 for youth (8 to 18). Saturday admission is $25 for adults and $10 for youth. Children seven and under will be admitted free both days (when accompanied by an adult).
