Mackintosh Collects Win #2 at Summer Shootout

After picking up one win in the first two events of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Summer Shootout, Ryan Mackintosh was determined to get back to victory lane on Monday night.

“We worked hard to get ready for round 3 and it paid off”,commented a happy Mackintosh from the garage area in Charlotte.

Mackintosh qualified 3rd out of 25 on a wet track and started 4th on the inversion. Another quick start saw Mackintosh grab the lead on lap one and hold it for the entire 25 laps run on a wet 1/4 mile.

The win puts Mackintosh into the points lead in his #03 NorthEastLegends.com Legend Car for the Jack In The Box Summer Shootout.

Tonight’s win was also Mackintosh’s 17th checkered flag of 2013.

The Summer Shootout resumes next Tuesday night at CMS.
