Scotia Speedworld Drops 2026 Racing Schedule

(HALIFAX, NS – March XX, 2026) – Scotia Speedworld is excited to announce the 2026 racing schedule! As we celebrate our 39th year of operation, we have some exciting surprises in store for both fans and drivers. Get ready for another unforgettable season of high-speed action!
The Bay Equipment Weekly Racing Series returns on Saturday, May 16th with all five house divisions in action including the Sportsman, Mini Stocks, Legends, Bandoleros and Beginner Bandoleros. Joining the first racing event of the season will be the Pro Stocks, who will run three 75-lap races throughout the season on May 16th, July 3rd and September 4th.
The popular Enduro division will return for four races in 2026 with scheduled appearances on June 12th, August 14th, September 18th and the Halifax 300 on Saturday, October 10th. The Halifax 300 moves back to Thanksgiving Weekend in 2026 due to the calendar shift and will include extended distance, non point races for all five house classes to cap off the year!
Each graduated Bay Equipment Rentals Weekly Racing Series division will see three extended distance races a part of their point schedule and their respective roads to their 2026 track championships. They are as follows;
- The Sportsman class will take to the track for the 31st Shriners Classic on Friday, June 12th before the Sportsman 100 as a part of Summer Clash Weekend on Friday, August 7th and a Sportsman 75 on Friday, August 28th.
- The popular and ever growing Mini Stock class will compete in 50-lap features on Friday, June 19th and Friday, July 31st before the Labour Day Classic, the Thunder on the Hill 75, on Friday, September 4th.
- The Legend and Bandolero class extended distance features go hand in hand, with each running extra laps on Friday, May 22nd, Friday, July 3rd and Friday, September 11th.

The Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour will visit Scotia Speedworld four times in 2026, including their season opener on Saturday, May 23rd, a 150-lap feature on Saturday, June 20th, the Summer Clash 250 on Saturday, August 8th and their 200-lap season finale on Saturday, September 26th. Support classes for these events include Scotia Speedworld Mini Stocks (May 23rd), MASS Sportsman (May 23rd and June 20th), the PiccottCare Maritime League of Legends Tour (August 8th and September 26th), the Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics powered by Kimco (August 8th), Street Stocks (June 20th) and the TCM Bandolero Road Trip (September 26th).
The World Series of Monster Trucks will return to Scotia Speedworld from July 24th to 26th. More information on this weekend will be released by the promotor when available.
With an exciting schedule packed with high-intensity racing, Scotia Speedworld is set for an unforgettable 39th season. Mark your calendars and don’t miss a lap of the action!
Race lengths, marketing partnerships, ticketing information and more will be available closer to the green flag in May.
