RJ POIRIER HEAVY EQUIPMENT REPAIR RETURNS AS PST RACE SPONSOR

(Halifax, NS – April 17, 2023) –The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour is happy to announce that RJ Poirier Heavy Equipment Repair will return as a race sponsor for the 2023 season. RJ Poirier Heavy Equipment Repair will again sponsor the June 10th event at Riverside International Speedway. The Auto World Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series (MASS) and Dulux Allstar Street Stocks, will energize fans in a 100 lap feature and Twin 40s respectively prior to the RJ Poirier Heavy Equipment Repair 150.
Established in 1983, R.J. Poirier Heavy Equipment Repair is a family owned and operated business providing service to customers in need of equipment rebuild and repairs. Servicing the US Northeast, the company in later years expanded its business to include the sale and rental of large construction and mining products. R.J. Poirier has grown to become one of the largest independent dealers in the US Northeast for the sale and rental of used Caterpillar dozers, wheel loaders and rigid frame trucks, sourcing equipment primarily from the Maritime provinces.
It was a tumultuous finish in the RJ Poirier Heavy Equipment 150 in 2022. With four laps to go Craig Slaunwhite, Greg Proude and Dylan Blenkhorn were in the top three finishing spots when a caution came out. On the restart Slaunwhite and Blenkhorn tangled in turn-three which drew another caution and took both drivers out of the race. The race was cut short and Kyle Reid was declared the winner, followed by Matt Vaughan, and Nicholas Naugle.
