Competitor Information – 2022 TCM Bandolero September Shootout at Oyster Bed Speedway (Monday, September 5th)

The annual Tim’s Corner Motorsports Bandolero event is upon us!

Moving to Prince Edward Island and Oyster Bed Speedway with a new name, the TCM September Shootout will pit the talent of the Reliable Motors Bandolero division at Oyster Bed Speedway, the fastest growing Bandolero division in the region, against some of the best talent from the mainland in Twin 25-lap features.

Notes for the event:

– By popular demand, this event will see a Beginner Feature added. The Beginner feature is 12-laps in length and will begin the show at 2pm. Drivers who feel comfortable with competing with the Outlaws can tag on to the back of the first 25-lap feature in the order they finished their Beginner feature. All Bandoleros will be scored together for the TCM Bandolero September Shootout.

– Pit gates open on Monday at 9:30am. Drivers meeting is at 12:50pm, racing begins at 2pm.

– Each Bandolero division will see two 10-minute practices.

– A random draw at the drivers meeting will determine the lineups for both the Beginner Bandolero and TCM Bandolero September Shootout Race #1. A re-draw of the top eight drivers will take place during intermission for the second TCM Bandolero September Shootout feature.

– Trophies will be provided by Oyster Bed Speedway for the top three in each feature. The overall TCM Bandolero September Shootout winner will receive a trophy courtesy of Plasma Works Metal Art in Salisbury, New Brunswick. The overall winner is the driver with the best average finish. The tiebreaker will be most laps led. If there is still a tie, the finish of the second race between the drivers tied will determine the event champion.

– This is a non points race. Congratulations to Daniel Vandenbrug on the season-long Reliable Motors Bandolero track championship at Oyster Bed Speedway.

Most importantly – we are here to have fun! Any bad blood from other tracks or events that spills over to the TCM Bandolero September Shootout that results in any unsportsmanlike conduct – hitting another car under caution or cool down lap, inappropriate gestures, etc., could result in disqualification from the event.

– This race is being covered by TimsCorner.tv. If you have family members or crew members that cannot make it to the track – tell them to tune in!

– Reminder that your eWaiver for the pits must be filled out prior to entering the track. New in 2022, all those entering the pit gates must complete their insurance waiver online prior to heading to the track. This waiver can be completed by going to OS.speedwaiver.com.
