(RIVER GLADE, NB – August 11th, 2022) – The action, excitement and flat out unpredictability of Endurance and Demolition is set to rock the house at Petty International Raceway this Saturday evening. The MetalCore and D.R. Scrap Metals Night of Destruction brings together something for every motorsport fan. The action gets underway at the River Glade, New Brunswick oval at 6pm on Saturday, August 13th.

The motorsports action will feature a 75-lap Endurance Race and an all out Demolition Derby finale with each event paying $1,000 to win. As if those full throttle events were not enough, there will be a burnout competition that always thrills motorsports enthusiasts young and old. Kids Rides with the NEW Monster Bus will also take place throughout the evening. Anticipation continues to grow between fans and competitors alike for this popular event.

The Kings County Performance Women on Wheels will also be in attendance to compete in twin features. Gail Thebeau has won both races so far this season and will look to continue her streak this weekend. Paula Evans and Ashley Campbell complete the top three in the standings after a pair of races in 2022.

Grandstand admission prices for Saturday’s event are $20 for adults and $10 for youth aged six to 18 with children aged five and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $25 and is restricted to those 16 years of age and older. New in 2022, all those entering the pit gates must complete their insurance waiver online prior to heading to the track. This waiver can be completed by going to PIRL.speedwaiver.com. Pit gates open at 4pm, grandstand gates open for spectators at 5pm with on track action getting underway at 6pm. Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Petty International Raceway’s next event is the Cummins 150 for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour on Saturday, August 27th at 4pm. Freshly added to the card is the Auto World Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series and their Morse Industrial 100 presented by C.B. Warren’s Auto Care. The Sportsman Tour event will run following the Pro Stocks on August 27th. The Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour and Leisure Days RV Bandoleros will play support.
