Alfalla To Test at Homestead Miami Saturday
For Immediate Release.
Ray Alfalla, 2-Time Champion in the NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship, Ready to Hit the Track!
Just 18 years ago, Ray Alfalla was a young child in his native Cuba and his parents dreamed of a better life for their family in the US. In 1995, their dream came true, although his family struggled to make ends meet. They soon discovered American racing and were hooked, though didn’t have the finances to pursue Ray’s dream of becoming a real race car driver. Then came online racing! Now, after 10 years, and as the reigning 2-Time World Champion, he wants to cut his teeth in a real race car.
15-year old Ernie Francis, Jr., the youngest driver in the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) and fellow iRacer, is going to fulfill the first part of Ray’s dream on Saturday, May 25th on the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Fresh off of winning his first three races as a pro in the Pirelli World Challenge, he will be giving Ray personal instruction in his Spec. Mazda Miata. Then, Ray will take some laps around the very track that he watched his first race as a child and also where he was crowned champion in 2011 and 2012.
Ray is hoping that possible teams and sponsors will take notice and give him a shot at fulfilling the next part of his dream, driving in a real race!
