(Halifax, NS – September 12, 2020) Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) raced his way to his third 250-lap feature victory at Scotia Speedworld by winning the Jim Hallahan 250 presented by Nova Truck Centres and Lucas Oil on Saturday. Butcher, who took the Nova Truck Centres Pole Challenge and started 15th on the field, worked his way up to the front after the halfway point, taking the lead from Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth) for the final time on Lap 168. Ashton Tucker (Lyttleton, NB), in his first trip to Scotia Speedworld in a Pro Stock, finished in second with Naugle in a strong third. Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) fought hard but wound up in fourth with Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS), driving a tribute Hugger scheme for Jim Hallahan, finished in fifth.

Naugle took home the Verhagen Demolition Halfway Award and the Dartmouth Metals Most Laps Led Award. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races were won by Donald Chisholm (Antigonish, NS) and Tucker. For his win, Cole Butcher took home $16,250. The Jim Hallahan 250 featured 13 cautions and took two hours to complete.

Jamie Dillman (Carroll’s Corner, NS) took home the Toursec Lightning feature as the appetizer round for the Jim Hallahan 250. Marshall Bezanson (Oldham, NS) and Mike Jollimore (Halifax, NS) completed the top three in the 17-car field.

The next event for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is at Riverside International Speedway on Saturday, September 26th. Start time, feature length and ticketing information will be announced this coming week.
