AUGUST WEEKEND AT SYDNEY SPEEDWAY CANCELLED

(SYDNEY, NS – August 19th, 2020) – Sydney Speedway officials have cancelled the racing weekend scheduled for August 22nd and 23rd at the track. Personal matters within the PPM Inc. Racing team, the core group that oversees operations at Sydney Speedway, has forced race operations officials to make the tough decision to cancel the event.
Sydney Speedway apologizes for the inconvenience to teams. Registered teams that have paid their registration for the August 22nd and 23rd weekend can receive a refund in full.
The next scheduled event for Sydney Speedway is Sunday, September 27th before the second annual Thanksgiving Thunder takes the spotlight from October 9th to 11th. Teams are urged to stay tuned from the Sydney Speedway Facebook Page for any additional event information.
