Oyster Bed Speedway Releases 2019 Schedule
Prince Edward Island’s only asphalt stock car racing oval has released their 2019 schedule of events.
The schedule features 14 events from May to September. Most events are full cards with upwards of five or six divisions each night. The Street Stock, Outlaw and Mini Stock divisions will run on each regular point event with the Pro Stock, Legend and Bandolero divisions rotating in throughout the schedule. The Legend and Bandolero divisions are expected to be INEX sanctioned at the track for 2019.
The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and Maritime League of Legends Tour each return for two dates with the Eastern Super Mini Cup Series visiting on five occasions. The Canadian National Autism Foundation’s KIDSRACE will make its inaugural Prince Edward Island stop on June 22nd.
Other highlights include the annual Demolition Derby events on the May and September long weekends, a Women on Wheels Mini Stock race on June 22nd, Fan Appreciation Day and Free Hotdog Night on July 13th, extended local Pro Stock division races on July 27th and September 15th, the Piston Cup Street Stock 75 (formerly David Lambe Memorial) on September 7th and a 100-lap Enduro on August 10th. The Outlaw, Mini Stock and Street Stock divisions also have their annual Super Series outlined within the schedule as well.
