TCM Stock Car Shootout
Kyle Gammon Takes TCM Trophy Dash at Kartbahn Racing
Kyle Gammon took home the TCM Stock Car Shootout season finale on Tuesday night at Kartbahn Racing.
While Gammon takes home the trophy from the finale event, he did so without winning a race on the evening.
The unique two A Final format combined the finishes of two 14-lap features to determine a champion of the event. Gammon finished third in the first feature behind winner Danny Chisholm and second in the second main behind Ben Israel to capture the season long trophy. Chisholm was second after finishing fifth in the second race while Israel, who won the B Main to transfer into the final, was third overall after finishing sixth in the first race.
Andrew Lively tied for third in the final rankings but was edged out by Israel for the spot. Shane Lively, Craig MacDonald, Brad Brown and Jonathan Bull completed the field in the dual A Main races.
Israel edged Owen Mahar for the win in the B Main for two wins on the night. Of note, Israel is the only non-Cory Hall Racing affiliated driver to win an A Main at the TCM Stock Car Shootout.
Missing the A Main field in a stacked field of 15 included Cory Leonard, Dylan Langille, Tony Leonard, James Sample, Russell Smith Jr and Dale Holman.
The final TCM Karting event of the season is the TCM Icebreaker Team Endurance Race, taking place on Saturday, April 28th at East Coast Karting in Dieppe, New Brunswick.
