By The Numbers: TCM Fall 250 at Kartbahn Racing

The stock car racing off-season officially gets kicked off Sunday with the TCM Fall 250 Team Endurance Race at Kartbahn Racing in Halifax. Teams representing all three Maritime provinces will duke it out on track to be the first to complete 250 laps for the first set of bragging rights for the 2017-18 winter months.
For those that are looking to drop in on Sunday, here is a little look at the field, some numbers to keep in mind, complete team rosters, times and more.
By The Numbers – TCM Fall 250
2 – Two of the 2017 CSS Insurance Most Popular Driver Finalists are registered to compete on Sunday. Megan Parrott (7th) and Jordan Veinotte (9th) will look to help their respective teams to victory lane on Sunday.
3 – Current 2017 track champions registered for the event – Logan Power (Petty International Raceway Westwood Estates Street Stock), Kenny MacKenzie Jr. (Petty International Raceway Limited Late Model) and Dave Matthews (Scotia Speedworld Toursec Thunder).
3 – Teams that competed in the TCM Spring 250, including Flemming Motorsports, Lively Motorsports/Cory Hall Racing and DeBoer Racing. Jonathan Bull was a part of the race in April and returns to Kartbahn Racing on Sunday with an “All Star” team of drivers.
4 – The event created enough interest that four teams were on a waiting list for this Sunday’s TCM Fall 250. Thanks to all who wanted to compete in this event, the wheels are already turning for the next one.
5 – Championships won by John Flemming on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. This will be the second TCM 250 Team Endurance Race for Flemming on the Brad Brown captained team.
12th – November 12th is the date for the first Fall edition of the TCM 250.
14 – Stock car feature winners that are registered for Sunday’s TCM Fall 250. Of those that won features on Atlantic Canadian soil, Kenny MacKenzie Jr leads the way as he took home seven feature wins in his championship season at Petty International Raceway.
16 – Teams will have to make 16 pit stops at 120 seconds each. Any team that does not make 16 stops will be disqualified in the final results.
19 – The amount of drivers who have been a part of the US Legends Cars International program in their racing career, whether it be in a Bandolero or Legend car.
21 – Cory Hall amassed a total of 21 INEX sanctioned wins in his Legend car in 2017. He’s won in New York, North Carolina, Maine, Texas, Florida, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. He won the Battle at the Big Top V at the Texas Motor Speedway, he won INEX Winter Nationals and he also won the TCM Spring 250 with teammates Andrew Lively, Kyle Gammon, Brandon Crawford and Craig MacDonald last April.
40 – Number of drivers registered between the eight teams competing on Sunday.
41 – Ironically, the last two teams to register to fill the TCM Fall 250 field have race cars they campaign with the No. 41 on it. Petty International Raceway Co-Owner and Dulux Racing captain Craig McFetridge owns the No. 41 Sportsman/Limited Late Model while “Rational” Richard Drake drove the No. 141 Dodge Neon to five wins in the Toursec Lightning division at Scotia Speedworld.
120 – Minimum amount of time, in seconds, pit stops must be during the TCM 250 on Sunday. This allows time for teams to change drivers, swap transponders to a new kart and lets karts charge. Pit stops lasting less than 90 seconds will be penalized.
250 – Lap distance for Sunday’s TCM 250. The first team to complete 250 laps will take home the checkered flag.
