Turple Wins Second River Glade International; Blenkhorn DQ’d for Left Side Weight Infraction

TCM NOTE: Dylan Blenkhorn crossed the line first in the Cummins 200 at Petty International Raceway on Sunday, but did not pass inspection due to a weight infraction. On Race Time Radio that evening, Blenkhorn stated the car blinked post race at a high of 58.3% left on the scales, settling at 58.1%, the rule on the series is 58% – no tolerance. The team had been working on left side weight pre-race with the car initially being at 58.1% in the morning before the team fixed it to meet weight prior to the afternoon’s racing at 58%.

The win will go to Shawn Turple. It is Turple’s third win of the season, second at Petty Raceway and second in the River Glade International.
