TCM Weekend Agenda – Weekend #5 of 2017

The Weekend Agenda returns as a standalone feature on TimsCorner.ca for the 2017 season.

If you are new to the Weekend Agenda, it is the easiest place to find which race tracks in Atlantic Canada are racing and what is on the card for the event. If a track is racing, you’ll see the track name and location in green and if a track is not running an event on a weekend, their name and location will be red. The line proceeding will display the divisions running on the weekend and a start time, or a date of when the next event is at the track.

You can check out the TCM Weekend Agenda on a weekly basis on TimsCorner.ca throughout the season on Wednesday evenings!

If you are a race fan that does not get excited over the words “Riverside International Speedway,” please check your pulse.

Riverside Speedway opens this weekend with the one and only event prior to the IWK 250. The Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet Buick GMC 150 is the final test under race conditions for teams looking to find speed prior to the marquee July event. Shawn Turple enters as the point leader on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour after winning the first two events on the series but hasn’t won at Riverside since 2009. Donald Chisholm has won the last two Riverside International Speedway events in a Pro Stock and will look to make it three with a win on Saturday.

Among the other events this weekend include a full card Friday at Scotia Speedworld, the first major Sportsman show of the year at Speedway 660 and the Maritime League of Legends Tour visiting Oyster Bed Speedway on the night of their first Late Model Super Series event of 2017!
