The Maritime League of Legends Tour will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, January 15th at 1pm. The meeting will be held at the Quality Inn Halifax Airport (the hotel behind Scotia Speedworld), 60 Sky Boulevard in Goffs, Nova Scotia.
At this meeting, attendees will be able to nominate and vote on the Board of Directors for the upcoming 2017 season. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting.
The series is coming off a big 2016 season which involved the signing of a major tour sponsor, a solid car count of over a dozen car making every race, the return to Speedway 660 on Speedweekend and their season finale being shifted to Scotia Speedworld as the undercard to the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour finale. Waylon Farrell and his Farrell’s Racing team drove to their first championship on the mainland after making the trek from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland.
At the end of season awards banquet, Ann Butcher announced that she and Darrin Butcher would be stepping down from their President and Vice President roles. Nomination and voting at the AGM on January 15th is expected to fill those board positions.
