The 2016 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour champion has been turning a few heads this week in the Florida Panhandle.
Cole Butcher, driving an entry out of Southern Super Series champion Donnie Wilson’s stable, set fast time on Thursday during Snowflake 100 practice for the Pro Late Models at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.
The Snowflake 100 field will get down to business on Saturday with qualifying and racing. Time Trials will go green at 2pm Central/4pm Atlantic, which will lock the top 30 into the field. The remaining will go to the Last Chance Qualifier, which will follow qualifying. The Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 is set for a 7pm Central/9pm Atlantic start.
Cassius Clark and the King Racing team continue to look for speed out of the #13 car in Snowball Derby action for the Super Late Models. Clark qualified on Friday with the 51st fastest time, meaning he will have to go through the Last Chance Qualifier to get into the show, which he was able to do in 2015. The Last Chance Qualifier will run after Snowflake 100 qualifying.
