Randy Millar Wins Martin’s Home Heating Most Popular Driver Award

The Martin’s Home Heating Most Popular Driver Award is returning to PEI with Oyster Bed Speedway Late Model driver Randy Millar.
The Freeland, Prince Edward Island driver becomes the first Island driver to win the prestigious TCM Best of Racing Award since James Doucette brought it to Miscouche in its first year in 2012.
The Martin’s Home Heating Most Popular Driver Award was announced and presented Saturday during the Oyster Bed Speedway banquet at the Winsloe Lion’s Club in Winsloe, Prince Edward Island.

RESULTS
TCM Most Popular Driver Voting Format:
Round One – All of the 95 nominated drivers are placed on the same ballot. After one week of voting, the field will be trimmed to the top 25 drivers for the second round of voting. Fans are permitted to pick up to five drivers on the first ballot.
Round Two – The second round of voting will take place from Wednesday, September 28th at 6pm to Wednesday, October 5th at NOON and will feature the top 25 27 drivers (there was a three way tie for 25th in Round One) from the first round of voting. The top ten from this group will transfer into the final round of voting.
Round Three – The final round of voting for the 2016 Martin’s Home Heating Most Popular Driver Award will feature the top ten from the second round of voting. The winner of this final vote will receive the TCM Most Popular Driver Award.
