High Air Halifax Lineup Features 8 Trucks including Debut of Zombie & Monster Mutt, 2 Female Drivers

HALIFAX, NS – May 5, 2016 – Get ready for a battle at Scotia Speedworld this May! Feld Motor Sports® has announced the 2016 Monster Jam Tour will stop in Halifax! Monster Jam, the world’s premier Monster Jam truck series, rolls into Scotia Speedworld for three massive shows: May 28 at 1pm & 7pm and May 29 at 1pm.

Monster Jam events are affordably priced for the whole family, featuring Pizza Pizza Kids’ tickets starting at $10*. Tickets are on sale now and are available at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office and www.monsterjam.com, or by calling (902) 451-1221.

Monster Jam brings high-octane, motorsports entertainment to fans around the world. Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. The live events blow the roof off traditional racing, as 1,500 horsepower trucks fly through the air and flatten anything in their path.

The awesome event will feature 8 Monster Jam Trucks including World Champions Grave Digger (Cole Venard), Northern Nightmare (Cam McQueen) and El Toro Loco (Becky McDonough). Other trucks competing include Zombie (Sean Duhon) and Monster Mutt (Bryce Kenny), making their Halifax debut, plus Scooby Doo (Linsey Read), Storm Damage (Tim Mente) and Hurricane Force (Steven Thompson). Trucks are subject to change without notice.

The Party in the Pits on May 28 and May 29 (10:30am-12:00pm) gives fans the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and meet the drivers of the massive Monster Jam trucks. Pit Party Passes are $15*, and event ticket must be presented upon entry for access.
