CENTRE FOR SPEED Announces Revised 2016 Schedule
Mini Stocks and Street Stocks Added to Early Season Events
The CENTRE For Speed in Grand Barachois, New Brunswick has put out a brief news release with additions to their previously released schedule for the 2016 season. These schedule updates include:
- The previous Atlantic Truck Driving Championships as announced in March have disappeared from the schedule. Slight date changes to early events in the season have been made. Please see updated schedule below.
- The addition of the Mini Stock racing class to the June 18th season opening card. The Street Stock racing class will race on the July 2nd card. These classes of racing are additions to the current Car Wars and Demolition events slated for those two dates. The last time the track held stock car events outside of the annual Atlantic Championships was two seasons ago, when JR Lawson (Mini Stock) and Brad MacLean (Street Stock) captured championships.
- The Parlee Beach Music Festival will take place on August 19th and 20th. The festival focuses on rock music.
- Monster Trucks have been added to the Mud and Dirt Racing championships on October 7th and 8th.
